What to Expect

We offer a free consultation during which we discuss clothing and make-up. We can also tour the areas of the “Open Air” studio you would like to use and talk about sets and props in the interior studio which interest you most. An on location session is always an option. If we are not familiar with the location of your choice, we will scout to determine the best area to use and the best time of day for your session.

Unlike other studios which limit time in front of the camera, no one is ever rushed at Photography by Suzanne. You will have all the time you need to relax, change clothes or fix hair and make-up. Suzanne’s patience with children is unmatched as they are allowed to take time to explore and become accustomed to their surroundings. Also, because we have a fun, homey studio, children tend to feel more comfortable.

Our convenient, on site, “Open Air” studio is truly unique with the old cabin, the pond with a pier, the wishing well and garden with a fountain. Other rustic settings include a working hand pump, an antique iron gate and a 1947 ford truck.

Session fees are payable on the day of your session. Refer to “Prices” in our navigation menu for complete details on session fees and portrait orders.

Your proofs will be ready for viewing within two weeks of your session. Portrait orders are completed within three weeks. Preparation and printing of wedding albums and CDs can take up to two months.

Expect to relax, have fun and thoroughly enjoy your custom photo session and expect to be thrilled with your portraits.
